CANADA HOLDS NEW EXPRESS ENTRY DRAW WITH 1 POINT DROP IN CRS SCORE

The Government of Canada on the 23rd of December 2020 issued 5,000 invitation to apply to eligible Express Entry Candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 468. The draw which makes a total of 107,350 invitations issued in the year 2020 has a slight drop of one point in CRS score compared to the last draws of December 9th and November 25th 2020 where a score of  469 was used for the draws. Eligible Candidates across all economic immigration streams managed by the Express Entry system, including Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were considered in the draw.

The COVID 19 pandemic brought lots of immigration concerns for some people, as many believed it will have a negative impact on Canada Immigration but on contrary Canada has continued to welcome Immigrants with a consistent rise in the number of invitations issued recently. In order to be eligible for the Canada Express Entry program, candidates are expected to meet specific eligibility criterias a few of which include academic qualifications, age, work experience etc.
